Rachel Dove is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose studio practice centers around ceramics and textiles. Rachel’s art practice combines functional and sculptural techniques, ancient firing methods, craft traditions and modern design.
Rachel Dove is a multidisciplinary artist who centers her artistic practice in ceramics and textiles. Originally from the Midwest, Rachel received her BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and MFA from the University of Tennessee. Her artistic growth continued at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2007, and she recently completed a residency artist at Watershed Center for the Ceramics Arts in 2025. Rachel has exhibited her work regionally in both juried and invitational exhibitions. In addition to her studio practice, Rachel teaches as an Adjunct Instructor at the university level and leads textile and clay workshops at several community art centers.
